Eric Kayser Artisan Boulanger
from Paris. Yes, everyone was so enthusiast to try their famous
patisserie. Located inside Plaza Senayan, the place is elegant with the
yellowish lighting in their seating area. Another tables also available
in front of the stalls. Too bad if we want to compare with Paul
Patisserie who have better location in Pacific Place. But hey, let's not
thinking about the place and the map location, it's about dessert time
now!
Be it for a brunch or heavy
dessert time, Eric Kayser have their list to amuse your tongue. You can
taste lot of their pastry bread, or perhaps get a temptation to try the
sweetness of macaron?
I choose 2 macarons, the Lemon
and Pistache. Not to be mistaken or typo, it is Pistache, not Pistachio.
As a visual oriented person, I picked those two because of their strong
colors, bright yellow and green.
Taste wise, well I can tell that
the Lemon macaron is better. It have a really strong flavor of sour and
acid but still delicious in a small bite. Pistache, hmmmm I could tell
that it was not my cup of tea by the way. There is a bitterness inside
the macaron, apologize, perhaps just not familiar to my tongue.
Mi Cuit Dessert, or we usually
know it as The Chocolate Lava Cake. I must say that the melted chocolate
inside is gorgeous! It's so tasteful and blended perfectly when you
grab it together with the vanilla ice cream, enjoy a little dance inside
your mouth! Really enjoying this cake until the last bite. And to accompany the dessert, we ordered Fresh Milk. Steamy and the foam from fresh milk was really good, plain and low-fat. Try a bit before you heading to the next destinations!
