THE HALAL GUYS

Thursday, October 24, 2013

CAN YOU SEE THE LAMB AND OTHER INGRIDIENTS?
WE ARE DIFFERENT! yess, tagline tersebut memang sangat menggambarkan The Halal Guys di antara deretan kuliner di New York City. Chicken Over Rice & Gyro combo seharga $6 memang patut diacungi jempol. Nasi kari briyani, salad, lamb or chicken or beef serta prata menjadi andalan dari The Halal Guys. The portion is pretty big and it's really delicious, while their chicken is steamed and soft, it's hardly seasoned or spiced. The lamb here is crumbled and ground into nothingness. It's insubstantial. The rice is actually pretty good, but other carts have better rice with real seasoning, herbs, and flavor. Eat with the white sauce (i thought this one is mayonaise) and red sauce is really hot (barbeque sauce but more spicy than chilli).
