YELLO HOTEL HARMONI - JAKARTA STAYCATION

Friday, March 10, 2017

Another weekend well spent at Yello Hotel Harmony Jakarta. It’s been awhile since the last time I went on a staycation in Jakarta and yeah, it’s addictive because I need “me time” and vacation in the middle of my busy week - literally every week!

Located in Central Jakarta, Yello Hotel Harmony is very strategic for local tourist or foreigner to explore Jakarta. Imagine if you are standing in front of the hotel now, if you walk to the right you will  go to West Jakarta which means you’re heading to Chinatown, Heritage Museum - KOTA TUA and the best part is you’re at the 24 hours entertainment are and sinfully delicious culinary which contain pork in every single corner you might pass. Yes I am talking about Mangga Besar, the district where I grew up.

Back to the shop front hotel, if you walk to the left, you’ll be heading to PASAR BAROE (The Old shopping Centre in Jakarta), ISTIQLAL Mosque - one of the biggest mosque in Asia, MONAS (National Monument, only 0.8 km away from the hotel) and the next 3km away from MONAS, you’re heading to Shopping Centre district such as Plaza Indonesia, Grand Indonesia and many more.

Well, it’s just a glimpse about the area where I spend my weekend. Let me take you to see the inside of the YELLO Hotel Harmony Jakarta. Once I step in to the lobby, one word that can describe this iconic hotel is “WOW”, means that I really love the ambiance of this boutique hotel with artistic interior mixed with their iconic yellow & navy colour, this hotel is INSTAGENIC!

Going up to the 7th floor where the concierge is available, I felt like I’m not at a hotel, it’s more like a hangout place! See the picture below, the concierge is not just nice, it’s so cool for the boutique hotel, even the waiting area is so pretty and I was so excited to explore more.

What’s more on the 7th floor? next to the concierge, they have GAME ZONE & INTERNET, you can play XBOX, SOCCER, and you can just shape your body up at the GYM. Also, the restaurant, wok’n tok, located at the same floor available only for breakfast and I love the idea of their interior. They also have the patio, where you can enjoy the view and the skyline.

Can’t wait to see my room and which mural I will get on the wall. It’s fatahillah museum, yeah! The room was spacious enough, about 24m2 include the bathroom. It’s so clean and chic for a photoshoot or OOTD. Well, since my first step in this hotel, I only think about OOTD. LOL

So I got a king size bed with this beautiful sky view, but even if I got a single bed, I think it would still be very comfy sleeping on their super comfy bed. And, I love the mirror on the bathroom, the lighting is just perfect for me to do another photoshoot, oopss.. this time I took a decent headshot as if it were taken on the photo studio.

WHAT’S MORE? Well, this hotel is integrated with the new hang out area called HARMONY EXCHANGE. There are some cafes where you can enjoy coffee and killing time. You can also find restaurants such as Ichiban Ramen, Mama Malaka, Ta Wan and many more restaurants are coming soon! You can also try Hotel HARIS VERTU - a new 5 star hotel and I also love it. Will post it separate from YELLO.
