Recently, I found out that so many modern Chinese restaurant surround me, which is good because Chinese food never fails me. Located at The East Building Mega Kuningan, I had dinner with some of fellow foodies. It's been awhile since the last time I've been here. We came for Thanksgiving dinner (what a super late post). I'll not talk about how fun I'm on the dinner, but it's more about LING LING who mesmerize me since my first step at the door.

Walking the hallway of the east building, you'll find the cutest signage ever with pretty folk as the icon of Ling Ling, it's not just the Icon. I believe that they have some meaning. Passing the main door, I feel the ambience is very different. It was so pretty yet I didn't even feel at the Chinese restaurant at all. Ling Ling was spacious enough and they had bar inside so it would be great if you planning to spend your weekend here. And what make me fall in love so much with LING LING it's because the design of the menu is very chic and pretty! That's so creative and full of effort compare to others modern Chinese restaurant that I visited before.
TASTE OF LING LING
Thanksgiving special package (Fat Duck dinner) that's what I had. Start with appetizer mini pumpkin dim sum stuffed with duck and savoury sauce also Duck salad with sesame dressing. It was so cute when they served it, looks so tempting. On the first bite, I can smell the filling is very tasteful and it's mouthwatering with the taste of sweet and savoury from the meat and seasoning. These mini pumpkin is good if you had when it's hot.
Duck Salad with sesame dressing. The package is IDR 250++ for 2 which is very affordable on festive season. As you can see on the picture below all the platter is quite big enough. It's not the plate, but the portion, meats, and vegetables is quite a lot for two. I never had duck salad before, but this one is so damn good. The dressing is a bit sweet and savory. The meats was so juicy as well, some of them is a bit crispy, I believe that the crispy skin tho.
ROASTED DUCK WITH JASMINE RICE.
One of my favourite Chinese food. The Roasted Duck! it was so tasteful, the duck was so juicy with some of Chinese herbs that I never found it on the modern Chinese restaurant like this. I'm really recommend this one, but I didn't find it on the menu. I think you should ask the server if you want to try, it might be only for seasonal, but it would be good if they have it on the menu.
Last but not least, the most favourite dish all of time! The Salted egg custard glutinous rice ball and it's very famous at LING'S. Me and some foodies are wondering, it's really good as people said or its just over react from some peoples. While killing the time because we don't wanna go home early, because the band was very has wonderful performance. We've ordered these rice ball IDR 40K. Yes, our curiosity has been answered. It was THE BEST rice ball hat I've tried so far (not endorsement) but it's real my opinion, look up how melted the filling when I cut half and half. So scrumptious!
DESSERT! Not a big fan of dessert but this Roasted Strawberries Crumble, Chocolate Meringue, Salted Caramel Biscuit Ice Cream was good and has a perfect combination after all. You should try it!
