ODYSSEIA JAKARTA: ANOTHER JOURNEY IN ONE STEP!

Odysseia. Situated inside the Galeries Lafayette, Pacific Place, this restaurant is having its first anniversary this May. Located across to the famous Paul Patisserie, you’ll find a wide green area with black steel gate. Step inside and welcome to one destination of art, food, and journey that is not ‘Jakarta’ at all. No wonder if Odysseia will open a new branch in Bali, this restaurant seems too good to be true in the capital J. Without having too much clue, this post is for the soul of travelers, let’s sail away to Odysseia Jakarta and fulfill your thirst of nature here.

 The main center of Odysseia

Owls, rabbits, green plants, and starlights are the things that will capture your attention at their outdoor area. This remarkable place is another proof that one restaurant can be seen as beautiful as it feels with the combination of nature.

They also have indoor area with a high ceiling and great colorful glass dome at the top of it. It feels more intimate here because of their fully-black interior, blue sofas and some suede sofas around the corner.

Indoor

During lunch, we try the set menu from Odysseia for Eat Jakarta, it consist of Garlic Chicken & Tomato Bruschetta as the appetizer. In the first bite, I could say that it was not my favorite appetizer. It might suits you who like some tasteless starter, kinda plain but giving strong garlic scent as the aftertaste. There are 5 pieces of the bruschetta, will be good to share with friends.

Then, here we go to the main course, Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Fettuccine. This one is a good choice for people who likes plain yet creamy pasta. The mushrooms and chicken are quite good. Add chili sauce to give you a better taste.

This is a great place for having a quality time with your best friends, or chill out in the evening. You may enjoy the breeze air during the night, and make sure to taste the dessert, which might be a great one!
